Says I won money and had a link. I used Facebook to find out who the person is by using Forgot password and entered the mobile number and it comes up with a Barrina Slater. This is the owner of this phone number a scammer.

Scam. Claiming to be from the SES Australia and asking for raffle ticket purchases to donate towards victims. The SES has said they do not conduct phone donations and have warned people to be aware of this scam.

It's on behalf of a company called Remserv, which does salary packaging and novated leases. They only call if you're in the process of arranging these things.

Not a scam/spam caller. Kingswood Dental Care. It's a dental clinic and will only call people to confirm their upcoming appointments. Does not do cold calls or advertising over the phone.

Here is what you can do (I did): call Commander's number 1300 296 142 and ask them the same questions that they asked you, i.e. how many lines do you have, are you on nbn etc. Drive them mad, like they are driving us mad. If you are concerned about your own number being visible, make it invisible by preceding their number with 1831 - removes your own caller ID.

Caller with asian accent. Doing a survey from 'mob service'. Wanted to do a survey on people that were poor and unemployed or retired in our area. Quickly hanged up when advised was on the 'Do Not Call register'. Suspect 'mob' probably looking for easy victims...

This person offered a $2,600.00 credit on a holiday booking say $600.00 for and airfare the balance was a credit for using an airline. When he said he need a debit or credit card number I hungup. He didn't try and call again.

It is actually FEDEX. They will be calling to advise Customs duties, AQIS fees, etc., for the import. You’ll have 5 days to pay for your incoming goods, or they’ll return it to sender and you incur further fees for shipping. You will find they are based in Phillipines. I deal with them all the time. They are frustrating because it’s difficult to get an Aussie voice to deal with probs. Try 132610 - you’ll get the same voices, it’s FEDEX.

Company that calls asking you to do a quick survey on what you consider important. eg. environment, child abuse, saving whales etc. Claim they do not pass on your information. Within two weeks I have had every charity organisation ringing asking for support as I have indicated that I am interested in their organisation. Do not give them any information. Hang up immediately.

Received an unsolicited call from this number 0488 827 975 and recognized the caller's voice (male with Arabic sounding accent) who called yesterday from a similar number 0488 727 968.

Dodgy Called my work number and mumbled something about saving. When pressed for info, they claimed they were "ringing everyone in my suburb" Trouble is that the they gave "3000" as the suburb name. (I'm not even in victoria let alone melbourne) they also claimed they got the number from "Australian Database Services" Which does not exist (as far as google knows) They did not hang up, but did express understanding at my concerns regarding cold calls and data privacy. Wasted a good 10 minutes of their time before i told them i was not interested.

I have received several missed calls from this number this week. When I return the call, there is nothing. The line doesn't ring, but appears to be answered with nothing at the other end. The call timer is activated, which makes me assume there is some form of automation. I've added the number to my blocked callers. I won't be receiving any more calls from that number.
